What Types of Clearance Sales Does Four Day Clearance Have?
Throughout the year, we organise different types of clearance sales, depending on the available stock and the occasion.
The three main types are:
- Regular 9-Day Clearance Events
- Display & Slightly Damaged Stock Clearance Events
- Black Friday Clearance
Each event offers something different.
1. Regular 9-Day Clearance Events
Our regular clearance events take place several times throughout the year.
Each event begins on a Saturday and continues until the following Sunday, giving customers 9 full days to visit and shop.
These events are an opportunity to see what is still available from our most recent furniture and home collections.
Depending on current stock, you may find:
- Sofas and living room furniture
- Beds and bedroom furniture
- Dining tables and chairs

Availability changes continuously during a clearance event, particularly for products where only one or two pieces remain.
You can also browse our online furniture shop throughout the year. The Four Day Clearance website remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even when our physical clearance event is not running.
2. Display & Slightly Damaged Furniture Clearance Sales
Around 2–3 times per year, we also organise special stock clearance events focused primarily on display furniture and slightly damaged products.
These are different from our regular clearance events.
Products may include furniture that:
- Was previously used as a display item during a clearance event
- Has minor cosmetic imperfections
- Was slightly damaged while being moved
- Sustained minor damage during handling or delivery
- Is being cleared to make room for new stock
Because of their condition, discounts during these events can be considerably higher than during a normal clearance sale, with reductions of up to 70% on selected products.
Why Are These Clearance Events Worth Visiting?
They can be particularly interesting if you care more about value than a small cosmetic imperfection.
A table with a minor mark, a display sofa or a piece of furniture with a small scratch may still be completely suitable for everyday use while being available at a substantially reduced price.
It is also where you can sometimes discover genuine hidden gems: individual pieces, discontinued products or furniture that may no longer be available in our main collection.
Quantities are normally very limited, so once an individual clearance item has been sold, another identical piece may not be available.
3. Black Friday Clearance
Our Black Friday clearance event is different again.
Unlike the slightly damaged and display stock events, Black Friday focuses on perfectly good products offered at additional promotional prices as part of the annual Black Friday period.
Depending on the year and available stock, Black Friday offers may include furniture and home products from multiple categories.
It is an opportunity to find products that would normally form part of our regular collection at an additional discounted price.

Separate display and slightly damaged stock clearance events normally take place around 2–3 times per year, while a special clearance event may also be held around Black Friday.
There is therefore no single permanent annual calendar for every clearance event.
